Brettos

You can identify Brettos by the wall of hundreds of glass liqueur bottles stacked to the ceiling and backlit to create a glowing, multicolored display. Located in the Plaka district, this establishment began operating in nineteen oh nine on the ground floor of an old Athenian mansion. Its founder, Michael Brettos, started the business to produce ouzo, brandy, and a variety of liqueurs using recipes he brought from Smyrni.
