St. Teresa’s Church stands on Rajaram Mohan Roy Road in the Girgaum neighborhood, identifiable by its heritage architecture that marks a long history in this part of Mumbai. While the present building dates to the early twentieth century, the site has served as a place of worship for much longer. It began in seventeen seventy-three as a private chapel dedicated to Saints Joseph and Teresa.
