Mohanji Mithaiwala is a small, decades-old sweet shop recognized by the see-through glass counter at its front and the steady stream of people gathering in the narrow lane outside. Established sixty years ago, the shop functions as a neighborhood fixture in the heart of the old city of Jodhpur. It is built to house traditional preparations, with trays of sweets laid out on platters inside the shop and staff working from the back.
