The tomb of John Russell Colvin sits in the courtyard directly in front of the Diwan-i-Am, or Hall of Public Audience, inside the Agra Fort. It is a simple, rectangular structure built of stone, and it marks the final resting place of the man who served as the lieutenant-governor of the North-West Provinces during the Indian Rebellion of eighteen fifty-seven.
