Wishing Bridge

The Wishing Bridge is a wooden pedestrian walkway in Old Jaffa, spanning the path between Kedumim Square and HaPisgah Garden. You can identify it by the bronze reliefs of the twelve zodiac signs set directly into its railings, alongside a stone mosaic of the zodiac at the entrance. Built in the nineteen sixties as part of a municipal effort to revitalize the historic district, the bridge was designed to connect the old city with the sloping parklands that reach toward the Mediterranean Sea.
