Shim'on Rokah Street is distinguished by the presence of the Rokach House, a residence identifiable by its prominent, dome-shaped roof. This building, dating to eighteen eighty-seven, was one of the first ten houses constructed in Neve Tzedek, the first Jewish neighborhood established outside the walls of the Old City of Jaffa.
