Gokuraku-bashi Bridge

Gokuraku-bashi Bridge spans the inner moat on the north side of Osaka Castle, connecting the Yamazato-maru area to the outer sections of the grounds. You can identify the bridge by its reinforced concrete construction, which stretches approximately fifty-four meters across the water, featuring Japanese cypress elements on the railings and decorative giboshi finials meant to recall the bridge’s Edo-period appearance.
