Osaka Castle Museum

The Osaka Castle Museum occupies the interior of the main keep, a striking tower identified by its white plaster walls, green roof tiles, and glittering gold-leaf ornaments. Standing fifty-five meters high, this building is a reconstruction of the original stronghold commissioned in fifteen eighty-three by the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi to serve as a center for national unification.
