Miraiza Osaka-Jo

Miraiza Osaka-Jo is distinguished by its European-castle architecture, featuring towers at its entrance and four corners that stand in contrast to the nearby Japanese fortress. Built in nineteen thirty-one, the structure was funded by public donations to commemorate the enthronement of Emperor Showa. It was designed to serve as the headquarters for the Fourth Division of the Imperial Japanese Army and occupies the same grounds as the main castle tower.
