The Festival Tower is a two-hundred-meter skyscraper that anchors the Nakanoshima district. You can identify it by its massive height and its role as the eastern half of a pair of twin towers that rise over the island between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers. Completed in two thousand twelve, the building was developed by the Asahi Shimbun company to house their headquarters and a redesigned, modern version of the historic Festival Hall.
