Grand Front Osaka is a massive commercial complex defined by its sequence of four glass-clad towers that rise directly north of JR Osaka Station. It occupies the former site of the Umeda Freight Station, a sprawling rail yard that once divided the district. When the complex opened in two thousand thirteen, it launched the transformation of this land into a new urban center.
