Ozu Washi is identified by the traditional Japanese noren curtain hanging at its entrance, which bears the shop's long-standing house mark. Located at the corner where Showa-dori Avenue meets the historic Nikko Kaido road, this establishment traces its origins to sixteen fifty-three. It was founded here in the Nihonbashi district by a twenty-nine-year-old merchant named Ozu Seizaemon-Nagahiro.
