The Templo del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri is defined by its pale-pink sandstone facade, a surface that displays a distinct fusion of Baroque architectural style and local indigenous aesthetic. The structure sits at the eastern end of the historical center, where its multiple towers and rounded domes rise above the surrounding streets. Construction began in seventeen twelve, taking over a pre-existing chapel that had served the town's mulatto population.
