Huis Aan De Drie Grachten

The House on the Three Canals sits at the intersection of the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, the Grimburgwal, and the Oudezijds Achterburgwal. This seventeenth-century building in the Dutch Renaissance style is recognizable by the stepped gables that crown each of its three facades, one facing each of the canals that surround it. Archeological evidence suggests that parts of the structure date back to the sixteenth century, while the current form was established around sixteen hundred and ten.
