The Skinny Bridge, or Magere Brug, spans the Amstel River with a white-painted wooden central section that rises as a double-swipe drawbridge. It is one of the few remaining bridges of this traditional design in Amsterdam and is illuminated by twelve hundred light bulbs after dark.
