St Georges Mall is a long, paved pedestrian walkway running through the heart of the Cape Town city center. Once a busy road known as Berg Straat during the era of the Dutch colony, it became the city’s first pedestrianized street in nineteen ninety. You can identify the area by the mix of brick paving, outdoor seating from nearby restaurants, and the constant flow of people walking between Thibault Square and St Georges Cathedral.
