The A4 Arts Foundation occupies a three-story warehouse on Buitenkant Street in Cape Town. Its exterior identifies a space that operates as a laboratory for the arts, focused on the processes of production rather than the traditional display of finished works. Founded in two thousand seventeen by Wendy Fisher, the foundation provides modular rooms, a public library, and an archive intended to support arts practitioners and foster engagement with the public.
