Ses Feixes, located between Ibiza Town and Talamanca, is defined by a series of whitewashed, arched entrance gates known as portals de feixa. These structures mark the boundaries of what was once an innovative agricultural system, created over one thousand years ago by the Moors who occupied the island. By developing a complex network of canals and irrigation channels to drain and water the low-lying marshland, they transformed the area into a highly productive garden that supplied vegetables, grains, and fruits to the nearby city for centuries.
