The Mercat Vell, or Old Market, is identified by its neoclassical columns that mimic the appearance of an ancient Greek temple. It sits in the Plaça de la Constitució, directly in front of the Portal de ses Taules, which serves as the primary entrance to the fortified walls of Dalt Vila.
