Plaza del Parque

Plaza del Parque is defined by the stone-paved pedestrian space nestled directly at the foot of the massive Renaissance-era walls of Dalt Vila. In its earliest form, long before the cafes and terraces arrived, this open area served as a mooring point for peasants who traveled from the countryside to the city. They tethered their horses and carts here at the base of the fortifications while they conducted their business in the town center.
