Montesol Experimental is characterized by a prominent white and yellow neo-colonial façade that anchors the Passeig de Vara de Rey in Ibiza Town. Originally opened in nineteen thirty-three as the island's first hotel, the building was designed by Joan Gómez Ripoll and became a center for the island’s social life. Its history reflects the shifts of the century, serving as a military base during the Spanish Civil War and later evolving into a destination for travelers and creative figures.
