Moray Place is a polygon of grand Georgian townhouses arranged around a central private garden in Edinburgh’s New Town. Unlike the rigid grid system found elsewhere in the city, the buildings here follow the irregular, sloping contours of the land. The architecture is defined by uniform, four-story ashlar sandstone facades that sweep in a continuous, elegant curve.
