The Viper Room stands at eight thousand eight hundred fifty-two Sunset Boulevard, recognizable as a low-slung, intimate club on a strip famous for its history of nightlife. Originally built as a grocery store in nineteen twenty-one, the building transitioned through several incarnations, including The Melody Room and a jazz club known as The Central, before actors Johnny Depp and Sal Jenco reopened the venue as The Viper Room on August fourteenth, nineteen ninety-three.
