Sweet Cheats is a bakery and coffee shop located on Kirkwood Avenue in the Cabbagetown neighborhood of Atlanta. The building sits directly across the street from Cabbagetown Park. The business began with founder Shirley Hughes, a national figure competitor who spent years adhering to a strict diet for training. During that time, she was allowed one cheat meal per week, which she consistently used to enjoy sweet treats.
