The historic Ebenezer Baptist Church features a Late Gothic Revival design and a sign hanging over the entrance that was restored by the National Park Service to its appearance from the nineteen sixties. Founded in eighteen eighty-six by the Reverend John A. Parker and thirteen others, the congregation moved to this Auburn Avenue location in nineteen fourteen, completing the brick structure in nineteen twenty-two.
