Kaiili Kaulukukui is a Hawaii-born artist whose murals define much of the visual landscape in the Kakaako district near Ala Moana. His work is recognizable by its loose, flowing depictions of marine life, particularly sharks and sea turtles, often accented with long, cascading drips of paint that run down the surfaces of neighborhood buildings.
