Podmore

The Joseph W. Podmore Building, located at the corner of Merchant and Alakea Streets, is identifiable by its dark, rough-faced Hawaiian basalt walls and a decorative stone balustrade running along the roofline. Constructed in nineteen oh two, the two-story building features a Richardsonian Romanesque style with a solitary arch above a side entrance on Merchant Street and a main corner entrance sheltered by a sturdy stone column.
