Smith's Union Bar

Smith’s Union Bar on North Hotel Street in Chinatown held the reputation of being the oldest continuously operating bar in Honolulu, having opened in nineteen thirty-four following the end of Prohibition. It was once the favored watering hole for sailors assigned to the U.S.S. Arizona, and in later decades, it became a site for reunions among the ship's survivors.
