St Anthony of Padua Society

The headquarters of the Saint Anthony of Padua Society at two hundred one Endicott Street is recognizable by its association with the Saint Anthony’s Feast, an annual event that draws thousands to these narrow streets each August. Founded in nineteen nineteen by Italian immigrants from the small mountain town of Montefalcione, the organization maintains the traditions and cultural heritage of their ancestral home. While the society remains a private religious and cultural institution, its influence defines the neighborhood’s identity during the festival, which National Geographic has christened the Feast of All Feasts.
