YWCA Boston building (Clarendon Street)

The YWCA Boston building is a thirteen-story, brick-faced steel structure standing on Clarendon Street. Designed by the architectural firm Shepard and Stearns, it opened in nineteen twenty-nine as a dedicated facility for the Boston Young Women's Christian Association, which was the first organization of its kind in the United States.
