Weisman Art Museum

The Weisman Art Museum is defined by its two faces. On the side facing the university campus, the building is clad in a conventional brick that mirrors the surrounding structures. Turn to the west, however, and the museum reveals a facade of shimmering, angular stainless steel that curves and swells above the Mississippi River bluff. Architect Frank Gehry designed these metallic sheets to resemble a fish jumping up a waterfall.
