Dick’s Drive-In on Broadway is marked by the same retro, mid-twentieth-century aesthetic that defined the company’s original design by architect Raymond Peck. Its long, low-slung building with windows on three sides is built specifically for walk-up service, lacking indoor seating in favor of an open-air experience that has been a fixture of the Capitol Hill district since nineteen fifty-five.
