Central Park in Samarkand is defined by the monumental bronze statue of two figures: Alisher Navoi, the poet and statesman, and Abdurakhman Jami, the Persian scholar. The pair stand together near the park entrance, representing a historical alliance between two of the most significant literary minds of the fifteenth-century Timurid era.
