Müllerstiege

The Müllerstiege, or Miller Staircase, is a steep route of approximately one hundred steps that rises through the historic heart of Hallstatt. Known for its connection to the town's vertical layout, this path is carved into the mountainside alongside homes that appear to cling to the rock face. It functions as both a passage for those navigating the town's dense architecture and a vantage point offering views over the village center, the Evangelical church, and the lake below.
