The Hallstatt Skywalk, often called the Welterbeblick or World Heritage View, is a triangular steel platform that extends into the open air three hundred sixty meters above the village rooftops. Engineered to withstand harsh alpine conditions, the structure projects from the face of the Salzberg mountain without any visible supports underneath. Its tip features laminated glass floor panels that allow visitors to look straight down toward the lake and the historic houses nestled against the steep mountainside.
