A l’Imaige Nostre-Dame sits at the end of a narrow, gated stone alleyway, marked by a metal arch and a niche containing a statue of the Virgin and Child. This tucked-away tavern occupies a building that dates to sixteen eighty-two, making it one of the few structures in the area to survive the bombardment of Brussels in sixteen ninety-five.
