The Royal Park Theatre sits at the northern edge of the Brussels Park, its neoclassical facade facing the federal parliament. Built in seventeen eighty-two by the architect Louis-Joseph Montoyer, the structure originally functioned as a performance space for young actors and students under the direction of the Bultos family. It stood as a counterpart to the Grand Theatre of La Monnaie, serving as a training ground for the city's future stage talent.
