Hôtel de Ville, Clichy

landmark

The Hôtel de Ville of Clichy stands on Boulevard Jean-Jaurès, recognizable by its neoclassical facade built of ashlar stone. Inaugurated in eighteen seventy-eight, the building replaced earlier municipal offices and was designed by the local architect Jules Depoix. It features a central section that projects slightly forward, once topped by an open pediment containing a clock and statues of reclining women.
