Edith Piaf Museum

The Musée Édith Piaf is marked from the street only by a small, unassuming plaque reading Les Amis de Piaf. Located at five rue Crespin du Gast in the eleventh arrondissement, this private museum occupies two rooms of a fourth-floor apartment within a residential building. The space was once home to Edith Piaf for a few months in nineteen thirty-three, early in her career. It was later established as a museum in nineteen sixty-seven by Bernard Marchois, a biographer and lifelong fan who lived in the adjoining apartment.
