The Abbé-Migne Square is a small garden tucked behind one of the two historic pavilions that once marked the Barrière d’Enfer, the former toll gate of the wall of the Farmers General. These stone buildings remain on the Place Denfert-Rochereau, where they once served as collection points for taxes on goods entering Paris. Today, the square offers a quiet, green space with winding paths, sheltered by trees against the backdrop of this dense city intersection.
