The Square Jules-Durand is a quiet public garden in the fourteenth arrondissement, accessible from the streets of Olivier-Noyer and Léonidas. It bears the name of a dockworker from Le Havre who became a central figure in French labor history. Originally known as the Square Olivier-Noyer-Léonidas, the park was renamed in two thousand sixteen to honor the man whose life and trial became a rallying cry for syndicalists and those campaigning against judicial injustice.
