square Adolphe-Chérioux

park garden

The Square Adolphe-et-Jean-Chérioux is a long, rectangular park stretching between the Rue de Vaugirard and the Rue Blomet, positioned beside the town hall of the fifteenth arrondissement. Designed by architect Jean-Camille Formigé, the space opened in eighteen ninety-six as the Square de Vaugirard. At its center stands a music kiosk, flanked by two stone statues: La Maternité by Alphonse-Amédée Cordonnier and L’Histoire inscrivant le centenaire by Émile-François Chatrousse.
