Hôtel de Montmorin

The Hôtel de Montmorin sits at the corner of rue Oudinot and boulevard des Invalides, characterized by a stone facade with seven window bays spanning two levels. While it functions today as the seat of the Ministry of the Overseas, the mansion reflects the residential tastes of the late eighteenth century. In seventeen eighty-four, Armand Marc, comte de Montmorin-Saint-Hérem, a close friend and foreign minister to Louis XVI, purchased the residence.
