Musée de l'Armée

The Musée de l'Armée is marked by the golden dome of the Hôtel national des Invalides, which rises above the seventh arrondissement and serves as a beacon across the Paris skyline. This building was originally commissioned by Louis the Fourteenth in sixteen seventy to house injured soldiers, a purpose it continues to fulfill for a portion of its residents. Inside, the institution traces the military history of France from the Bronze Age through the twentieth century.
