The Square du Général-Anselin consists of a long, thin stretch of greenery bordering the edge of the Bois de Boulogne and the boulevard Lannes in the sixteenth arrondissement. The layout reflects a woodland character designed to evoke the feel of a forest understory. Among the plantings are robinia, maple, birch, and hawthorn specimens, all maintained under the city's ecological garden program.
