Immeubles Walter

The Immeubles Walter are three monumental stone buildings that form a grand, symmetrical block near the Porte de la Muette. Built between nineteen twenty-nine and nineteen thirty-one by architect Jean Walter, this Art Deco complex occupies land that once held the military fortifications known as the Thiers wall. The buildings are marked by their colossal stone facades, curved lines, and massive vertical windows that rise up to four meters high, all organized around interior courtyards and green spaces.
