The Maison de la Radio et de la Musique is instantly recognizable for its circular shape, a design that earned it the nickname "Maison Ronde." Stretching five hundred meters in circumference along the banks of the Seine, the structure features a prominent central utility tower that rises above the ring of studios and offices. Architect Henry Bernard designed this complex to consolidate the many scattered branches of French public broadcasting into a single, cohesive headquarters.
