Villa Jeanneret

Villa Jeanneret is a stark, white, modernist residence located at the end of the quiet square du Docteur-Blanche in the Auteuil district. It is easily identified by its purist geometric form, complete lack of exterior ornament, and characteristic long horizontal windows. Built between nineteen twenty-three and nineteen twenty-five by the architect Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, the villa was commissioned as a family home for Le Corbusier’s brother, Albert, and his wife, Lotti Raaf.
