Hôtel Roszé (1er édifice conservé d’Hector Guimard)

The Hôtel Roszé, located at number thirty-four rue Boileau, holds the distinction of being the oldest surviving building designed by the architect Hector Guimard. Built in eighteen ninety-one, when Guimard was only twenty-four years old, the house predates his famous experiments with the flowing, organic lines that would later define his career and the Art Nouveau movement in Paris.
