Fontaines "Sources de la Seine" de Paul Landowski

Two monumental, ten-meter-high stone cylinders stand at the center of the Place de la Porte de Saint-Cloud. These are the Sources de la Seine, a pair of Art Deco fountains designed by sculptor Paul Landowski with architects Jacques Billard and Robert Pommier. Built in nineteen thirty-six, the structures were commissioned for the nineteen thirty-seven Universal Exhibition in Paris. At the time of their debut, they functioned as the first illuminated fountains in the city.
